Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Ideally, clothes should be reasonably form fitting to allow for postular checks during the session, but please wear clothes that you feel comfortable in, that will allow you to move your body. If you have long hair, it’s useful to have it tied out of the way. For hygiene reasons, we request that socks be worn for all classes.

Do I need to bring anything?

You might want to bring some water with you, but all equipment will be provided. If, however, you would prefer to bring your own mat,  you are welcome to do so.

Which class is right for me?

Our mixed-ability classes are suitable for all levels of ability, whether you have done pilates before, or not.

If you wish to take part in our intermediate classes, we may use some small pieces of equipment, such as the magic ring, sliders and bands to incorporate a little more resistance and add an extra challenge to the workout.

Your ability and experience will be taken into consideration for all classes, and as always in Pilates, you can rest when you need to, ensuring you focus on correct alignment, breathing and form over everything else.

Are there changing rooms?

We do not offer changing facilities, so please come ready to practise Pilates.

Is there car parking?

Parking availability varies by location, so please check the individual class page for more details.

Where parking is available, it will be on a first come first served basis.

When should I arrive?

Please allow an extra 5 minutes before the class starts in order to prepare yourself.

How many people will be in the class?

Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 people.

Do I need to book?

As spaces are limited, we ask that you book classes a minimum of 48 hours ahead in order to secure your place.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We do understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances do crop up, and with this in mind we operate a 24 hour cancellation policy - if you cancel at least 24 hours before your class we are happy to reschedule or refund your booking. If you cancel with less than 24 hours to go, we are unable to offer a refund, or to move your booking.

If you fail to attend your session without letting us know, no refund will be given. In addition, if you fail to complete the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire and Informed Consent form sent when you book the appointment, and linked in the confirmation email, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and no refund will be given.
