Hi, I’m Claire

I’m the founder of Inner Strength Pilates and a qualified Pilates instructor. I also love strength training, and have quite recently taken up running. I discovered Pilates about 6 years ago, when I attended classes local to me, and have always enjoyed the combination of working the body and mind in harmony, which I find to be challenging and rewarding in equal measure. 

I love using Pilates to teach people that exercise doesn’t have to be hours spent slogging in a gym, or pounding pavements (although it certainly can be), but can be just as effective through controlled, precise movements. It's such a great form of movement and is easily adapted to suit all abilities and fitness levels. I believe that everybody can benefit from Pilates, whether that is from the physical effects, or the emotional and mental wellbeing it brings, and ideally from both.
