Back Care Classes

Throughout the year I will be running some 4 week Back Pain Management courses. These courses will be aimed at people who suffer from recurrent or chronic back pain.

The aim of the course is to help you understand possible causes of your back problem, manage pain , and guard against future episodes.

* Discussion on common causes of backpain
* Look at how posture can influence back pain
* Learn some pain management strategies to help during acute episodes of back pain
* Habitual movement patterns - understand how they can create back weakness
* Learn new movement patterns encouraging your body to move more efficiently
* Learn exercises for spinal stability and joint mobility
* Learn how to stretch effectively

 The plan is to offer this information both as a 4 week course or alternatively in workshop format.

The next 4 week course will be held at Wantage Pilates Studio on Friday evening at 6pm starting in February subject to numbers ( minimum of 3 participants max 5)
